Meanwhile, the University of Dodoma has extended its sincere appreciation to academic assistance it received from Makerere University and Norwegian University of Science and Technology to become a center of excellence towards teaching and providing consultancy on petroleum and gas activities in the country.
UDOM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Idrisa Kikula, made the comment when he was officiating at a PELIBIGO workshop yesterday at the UDOM.
Prof Kikula noted that, beside UDOM being young in academic matters and experience in East African Region, under the two universities of Makere and Norwegian, it will be able to compete what the other two universities have accomplished in the same time.
