Tanzanian accused of reckless driving, killing one in India

 
A Tanzanian student knocked down to death a milkman in a road accident near Hegde Nagar in North Bengaluru, India.
According to India Today, online edition, the police have arrested the driver, Kelvin Muzani Musimba, who studies at the Koshya’s College in Bagalur. 
 
The report have it that at around 6:00 am (local time), Kelvin and his friends Clavin and Clovin were driving back, when Kelvin who was driving the car lost control and hit the milkman Velu, who was standing near his scooter.

The locals, who were present near the accident site, chased the accused and beat them up. They later handed them over to the police. Locals also put up posters saying 'Tanzanians are killers' around the accident site.

The police seized the car and took the accused to the police station.

It was found that Kelvin was drunk beyond the legal permissible limit. Kelvin has been booked under IPC sections 304 and 279 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder and reckless driving respectively).
