PRESIDENT John Magufuli has congratulated US President-Elect Donald Trump.
President Magufuli also congratulated people of America for a democratic election on his twitter account @MagufuliJP today.
“I assure [US] people of Tanzania continual friendship,” Dr Magufuli said.
Mr Trump (Republican) won the close race after garnering over 270 electoral votes against 218 of Hilary Clinton (Democrats).
“I will be president of all Americans,” President-Elect said when delivering his acceptance speech. The Republican also controls the senate.
