FIRST Lady, Mama Janeth Magufuli,
was yesterday discharged from the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH)
where she was admitted two days ago after she suddenly fell sick.
A statement issued in Dar es Salaam
yesterday by State House said that the First Lady who was admitted to
MNH’s Sewahaji ward was brought at the hospital on November 9, this
year, after she fell sick and was unconscious.
The statement said that the First Lady was discharged from the hospital after her health improved significantly.
Before she left Sewahaji ward where she
was admitted, Mama Janeth expressed her gratitude to the hospital’s
medical personnel for the good services and Tanzanians for praying for
her recovery.
“I thank God that my health has
improved, I also express my gratitude to doctors and nurses for the good
services because when I was brought at the hospital I was unconscious,
but you struggled to save my life and today I am returning home in a
better health condition,” said Mama Janeth in a statement.
On Thursday, President Magufuli visited
his wife at the MNH and took the opportunity to see other patients who
were admitted at the national facility.
